As our little non-profit-that-could celebrates our 10 year anniversary, we also celebrate our adaptability, our resilience, and our rebirth. We have completely transformed in the past year. The pandemic, restructuring, collectivizing, becoming intentional about centering Queer/Trans People of Color (QTPOC), starting new programs, taking care of our community's medical and mental health needs with half the staff we had a year ago - WHEW! It's been a lot. We are so proud of what we have accomplished and are so excited to celebrate.

As an agency, GHC has been severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to health restrictions, we have had to reduce our capacity by 30%. This has not only affected GHC's ability to provide quality services to our community members, it has also resulted in a 40% loss of income over the course of 2020. We need your help to get GHC back on track with our year-end fundraiser and to start 2021 strong.

please join us...

...for 24 hours of live music from Sacramento bands, a live fashion show with original designs, free lunch for our top donors, fun GHC facts and much more! Follow us on facebook to see events streaming throughout the day.

If you are a musician, please consider playing a show and raising some money for GHC. We are also looking to partner with sponsors who can support us financially.

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Website ------>

band signup

Are you a musical performer in the Sacramento area? Do you want to get dressed up and play a benefit show to raise money for GHC on Giving Tuesday? We are looking for local bands to set their own fundraising goals and then perform a live set while asking your followers to donate and support GHC.

Your performance will be in the location of your choosing, and will either be virtual and stream live to our social media, or it can be a physical show (with masks and social distancing).

Interested? Sign up today and support a badass nonprofit with your performance.

sponsorship

Is your organization interested in partnering with and supporting a Sacramento nonprofit led by Trans People of Color?

This year, we are asking all of our sponsors why it's important to them to support the medical and mental health needs of the Trans community. We will be sharing your answers with our community on Giving Tuesday. We will also thank all of our sponsors live "on air" before our main event, our fashion show. And we will create graphics to share on social media thanking your organization for your sponsorship.

Please fill out our sponsor form to support Gender Health Center on Giving Tuesday.
