GLMA - Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality
GLMA is a national organization committed to ensuring health equity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) and all sexual and gender minority (SGM) individuals, and equality for LGBTQ/SGM health professionals in their work and learning environments. To achieve this mission, GLMA utilizes the scientific expertise of its diverse multidisciplinary membership to inform and drive advocacy, education, and research.
WEAVE is the primary provider of crisis intervention services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Sacramento County. Through a multi-disciplinary effort with Sacramento County, law enforcement, the Commercially Sexually Exploited Children Court, Child Protective Services, and the District Attorney’s Office, WEAVE also provides 24/7 response, outreach and services for victims of sex trafficking.
The mission of Golden Rule Services is to resolve health, education, employment and criminal justice disparities within People of Color communities through the provision of culturally competent programs and resources.

SOFFA-T (SOFFA Trans) - Significant Others, Family, Friends, & Allies of Trans people in Sacramento.
A Sacramento group of peers who have one or more loved ones who are transgender or gender variant in their lives. We meet every first Tuesday of each month at 6pm until 8pm at the Gay & Lesbian Center to give each other support. Peer-led and sponsored by the Gender Health Center.
A nonprofit social and support group serving the crossdressing and transgender community of Northern California. We are based in Sacramento and have members from the Central Valley, the Bay Area, the Sierra Nevada, and neighboring states.
Sutter Gender Identity Support Group
An open, non-profit, non-sexual social group serving the Greater Sacramento area for those who are serious about their gender identity. We provide a safe and secure place where they can interact with others with similar experiences and meet, visit and exchange information. We serve the educational, emotional, and recreational needs of the gender variant, transgender and intersex community, their significant others, parents, children, allies and helping professionals.
We are an all-volunteer group of parents, family and friends of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT), people.

Youth + Parents
Trans Families Sacramento is a support group for transgender and transsexual people, their parents, partners, children, other family members, friends, and supportive others. We provide referrals, literature, and over-the-phone information on all transgender issues. Although we are located in Sacramento CA, the Internet has enabled us to extend helping hands to transgender individuals and their families across the globe.
A group of families who gather together for support, education, and community to help raise our transgender, gender variant, gender non-conforming or gender questioning children (4-18 years old) in a supportive and loving manner. We recognize that every child and every family has their own journey and has different levels of acceptance and beliefs.
