The Gender Health Center hosts electrolysis services in partnership with EleqtroSpot, a trusted provider of gender affirming hair removal. This collaboration marks an exciting step forward in expanding access to gender affirming care for our communities!
Electrolysis is a safe and effective method for permanent hair removal, and we are proud to host this service to support our community members! We’re committed to making gender affirming treatments more accessible and providing our community with the resources they deserve.

Supporting Electrologists-in-Training
We’re excited to share our next chapter of workforce development: supporting electrologists-in-training.
Beginning in 2026, we are partnering with eleQTrospot and the Stonewall Foundation of Greater Sacramento to provide financial support, mentorship, and small business development opportunities for community members pursuing licensure in electrology (permanent hair removal services).
Thanks to the generosity of the Stonewall Foundation of Greater Sacramento, one student each year will receive tuition support toward completing the educational requirements to become a licensed electrologist.
